What We Do 
The High School of Economics & Finance Office of College Advisement is committed to advising and assisting the HSEF community by helping students to identify and apply to their best post-secondary options based upon individual interests, abilities, values, and finances.
Services We Offer
The services provided by the office include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Group presentations and workshops covering all facets of the college search, admissions, and financial aid process
  2. Individual college counseling sessions
  3. Evening workshops for parents on college admissions and financial aid
  4. College trips
  5. Arranging visits to our campus by college admissions officers from a wide variety of colleges and universities
  6. College application review and processing
  7. Referrals to free test preparation services
Applying to Post-Secondary Institutions
High School of Economics & Finance has a well organized, highly effective system of processing college applications. The process varies somewhat based upon the type of application a student is submitting. College Advisement staff proofreads applications and returns them to each student so that they may correct and submit their applications promptly.
 
Some application materials, such as official transcripts and recommendation letters, must be submitted to colleges directly from our school's college office.
